Maybrey Precision Castings operates from a single specialist facility in Aylesford, Kent, producing bespoke aluminium, iron, and copper-based castings for aerospace, heritage, art, and commercial customers. All of our core capabilities sit under one roof: sand casting, gravity die casting, 3D printed sand moulds, tooling manufacture, and a full range of post-process services from CNC machining and heat treatment through to finishing and assembly.

That breadth matters. It means the casting you specify with us can go from raw mould to finished, tested, and ready-to-fit component without leaving our facility. One point of contact, full traceability, and the quality framework that has kept our aerospace certification unbroken since 1937.

Gravity Die Castings

Aluminium castings up to 25 kg from a permanent die. Superior surface finish, improved mechanical properties, and dimensional consistency across a production run. From commercial grades to class one aerospace alloys.

Sand Castings

Grey iron, SG iron, aluminium, and copper-based alloys from a single facility. Iron castings to 750 kg, non-ferrous to 250 kg. Single pieces, short runs, and batch production across every sector we serve. Other alloys on request.

3D Printed Moulds

Intricate bespoke castings for artists, sculptors, and designers in silicon bronze, aluminium, and iron. Our use of 3D printed sand moulds means complex geometry and fine surface detail that conventional pattern tooling cannot achieve are well within reach.

Tooling Manufacture

All tooling designed and produced in-house, from patterns and gravity die tooling to machining fixtures. We also reverse engineer from physical samples where no drawing exists, using 3D scanning and spectrometric analysis.

CNC MACHINING & POST Processes

The casting is the beginning, not the end. From shot blasting and heat treatment through to CNC machining, NDT, X-ray, finishing, powder coating and assembly, we can take a raw casting to a finished, tested, ready-to-fit component.

mETALURGICAL LABORATORY

Our in-house metallurgical laboratory is central to quality control and full material traceability, with chemical and mechanical testing used to verify that alloys and castings meet the required specification. We also identify unknown materials and reverse engineer samples using spectrometric analysis. Chemical and mechanical certification is available, alongside NADCAP-approved NDT including dye penetrant and radiographic inspection.

MATERIALS AND ALLOY SPECIFICATIONS

We cast in aluminium alloys, grey iron, ductile iron, SG iron, copper-based alloys, and silicon bronze. Full material specifications and grade standards are available on request.
