Our Carbon Net Zero Commitment
The FNZ Platinum Carbon Net Zero Award reflects the Caro Group's verified delivery of:
- Net zero emissions achieved ahead of the 2050 target
- A 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions ahead of the 2030 deadline
- A 42% reduction in total carbon footprint over five years
We always describe this as Carbon Net Zero. It is a precise, verified claim, and we use precise language to describe it.

The flood coat and finishing department investment reduces outbound sub-contract transport.
Secondary Attrition Plant
Our Omega secondary attrition sand reclamation plant allows us to recycle and reuse foundry sand, reducing our purchases of dried silica sand by around 90% while also cutting landfill waste and our overall environmental impact.
FNZ Award Progression
The Future Net Zero programme recognises achievement at three levels: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The Caro Group has progressed through all three, reaching Platinum, the highest level, ahead of the programme's most demanding milestones. This progression is the evidence that our sustainability commitment is a genuine, continuous journey, not a one-off certification.

As part of the Caro Group of Companies, Maybrey Precision Castings manufactures aluminium castings for two of Caro’s flagship product ranges: Caroflow Flat Roof Drainage and Caro Flood Defence.
